I believe this is a type of Orb Spider, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, this fellow was hanging from the rafters of the Nature Realm building in the Summit Metroparks near Akron.
He was supposed to be in a glass cage, but he got out.
The rangers also told us a story about another spider who got out of his cage and made a web in the building's sunroof. But he couldn't catch enough food, so he went back to his cage.
